About CRS Mobile Cold Storage

In 1992, the CRS story began, with CRS Refrigeration becoming incorporated.  The company's core business activities centred around quayside reefer services such as temperature monitoring, pre-trip inspection, and refrigeration equipment repair.  

Today, CRS Refrigeration assist some of the largest shipping line companies with their reefer requirements and have established agencies with key refrigeration suppliers such as Carrier Transicold, Mitsubishi & Thermoking.  In addition, CRS Refrigeration have diversified into a number

of different markets including, all forms of commercial refrigeration, refrigerated is containers, air conditioning, cold rooms, ice machines and catering equipment where we provide sales, service and repair.

In 1994 CRS Rent A Fridge was born, which later began trading as CRS Mobile Cold Storage.  A gap in the market was identified.  It was established that companies from a range of industries, from frozen food processors, to bakers, to pharmaceutical, required extra, on site, temperature controlled storage space. 

Initially CRS Mobile Cold Storage rented out standard reefers (refrigerated containers).  However, over the years, as we have grown and developed, and by listening to our customers and through considerable investment in R&D we now offer a range of exciting products. 

These include:

• 16ft and 24ft wide mega mobile cold stores,
• 60kw blast freezer which can be exported globally (and now we have - to Perth, Australia!),
• the portable bar for the events industry, and
• the pharmagrade mobile cold store with built in redundancy for the storage of high value pharmaceuticals.

Today, CRS Mobile Cold Storage operate primarily in Ireland and the UK but with many of our products suitable for export, we will strive to help you wherever you are!  CRS Mobile Cold Storage can supply you with both new and refurbished equipment and offer a range of cold storage rental, lease and sales options.
