Zanotti Two Part Refrigeration Systems
Bi-block refrigeration units are built in two parts, with the condensing part installed outside the cold room and the evaporating part installed within the cold room.
The UNIBLOCK DB-O series (“BI-BLOCK” refrigeration units) are suitable for a wide range of room sizes.
Models DB121-O, DB123-O, DB221-O and DB135-O are for small cold rooms; models DB235-O, DB335-O and DB340-O are for medium and large cold rooms.

Technical Information of DB-0 Zabotti Refrigeration Units
The main characteristic of the DB-O units are that they are built in two parts: the condensing part, for installation, on the ceiling or floor, outside the cold room and the evaporating part to be installed on the ceiling, inside the cold room.
The body of the condensing unit is made from epoxide powder painted steel sheet whereas the evaporator is in pre-painted sheet.
The hermetic or semi hermetic reciprocating compressors are working with refrigerant R404A.
The evaporators are ceiling type (for 121-123-221-135) or cubic type (for 235-335-340) with condensation water runoff.
The DB-O series units are delivered ready to use, i.e. tested andprecharged with refrigerant.
The units are equipped with:
- liquid receiver
- liquid sightglass
- line solenoid valve
- thermostatic expansion valve fully automatic electric typedefrosting
- electrical panel with electronic control station
- • remote control panel
- condenser fans speed variator (only for 235-335-340)
- compressor crankcase heater (only for 235-335-340)
- interconnecting pipes NOT supplied
